• Kansas Sampler Foundation uses their site to help Kansas communities preserve and sustain their rural culture.
• Kansas Scenic Byways helps travelers discover beautiful drives in Kansas, and describes the services available for byways leaders.
• The Solomon Valley Highway 24 Heritage Alliance is recording the history of the valley and helping visitors find special places to visit.
• SCKAAA--South Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging serves 10 counties in South Central Kansas.
• Zebulon M. Pike Expedition Bicentennial - will be celebrating Pike's military expedition to the American Southwest in 1806 and 1807.

Businesses

• Creek Water Wool Works (located in Dexter, Kansas) - spinning, weaving, quilting supplies, fabrics and yarns.

• Uhlik Hunting - provides hunting services in Washington County, Kansas.
• Vonada Stone Company - has been making products out of Post Rock limestone since 1986.

Lodging

• Henderson House Bed & Breakfast and Retreat Center in Stafford is a complex of restored old homes and a conference center in a restored church.  It needs an extensive site to show its unique nature.
• The Ellis House Inn in Ellis and the Kansas Kountry Inn in Oakley illustrate that sometimes all it takes is a simple page to help people decide to make their reservations with you.

Museums and Special Attractions

• The Coutts Memorial Museum of Art in El Dorado shows how a small website can still be effective.
• Kansas Oil Museum, also in El Dorado, needed a way to show how much they have at the museum as well as a way to describe their events and their educational programs.
• The Brown Grand Theatre in Concordia maintains their events calendar themselves.  The theatre has a lot of events and hosts a lot of meetings for groups around the state, so it is especially useful to have the calendar posted on the web.

Special Events

• Watertower Festival in Beaumont.  This webpage was developed by KOTN and is now maintained by Butler County Eco/Dev.
• Denmark Herb Day is an annual affair held in a town of 20 or so folks and one pop machine.  News of their festival is available so that far-away Kansans can mark their calendars for this very special event.
• Memorial Day in Morland.  Web pages don't get much simpler than this, yet it saves some of the cost of mailing this flyer and it makes the information available to out-of-town alumni returning to visit Morland.
